Mile End Park
Stretching from Limehouse to Victoria Park, Mile End Park combines green open space, sports facilities, waterways, ecology areas and public art to create one of London's most distinctive urban parks.
Created on land rebuilt after the Second World War, Mile End Park is unlike any other park in London. Running for more than a mile through the borough, it links neighbourhoods, canals and attractions through a series of connected landscapes.
The park features ecology areas, ornamental gardens, sports facilities, children's play spaces and the striking Green Bridge, which carries parkland over Mile End Road. Visitors can explore the Regent's Canal towpath, enjoy waterside walks, watch climbers at the climbing wall or visit nearby attractions.
Mile End Park is a popular destination for walkers, runners, cyclists and families looking for a mix of nature and recreation close to central London.
