Victoria Park

From lakes and historic monuments to cafés, playgrounds and major outdoor events, Victoria Park is one of London's most celebrated green spaces. Known locally as 'The People's Park', it offers over 200 acres of beautiful landscapes, waterside walks and family attractions in the heart of East London.

Victoria Park has been welcoming visitors since 1845 and remains one of the capital's most popular parks. The park combines wide open lawns, ornamental gardens, tree-lined avenues and picturesque lakes with a busy programme of events throughout the year.

Visitors can enjoy boating on the lake, explore the Chinese Pagoda, relax in the cafés or discover some of the many walking and cycling routes that connect the park to the wider East London area. Families will find excellent play areas, while wildlife enthusiasts can spot birds and other species around the water and woodland habitats.

Whether you're looking for a peaceful afternoon walk, a family day out or a place to enjoy one of London's major festivals, Victoria Park offers something for everyone.
